We produced an episode for the ‘Free Range Humans’ global series, a hybrid documentary sponsored by Corona Studios.

The story we told was of Jess Hutchinson, an Ecologist who grew up exploring, surfing and hiking Vancouver Islands stunning west coast – a mosaic of emerald valleys, white sand beaches, rugged fjords and ancient rainforests.

Centered around the Clayoquot Sound in British Columbia, Jess leads us on a journey along the region’s coastline to observe some of her habitat restoration projects, including the Atleo and Tranquil River systems, where salmon stocks have significantly declined as a result of the island’s logging industry. The only thing more integral to the fabric of coastal British Columbia than the ancient forests is the Pacific salmon.

The series was in collaboration with our partners at Monster Children.
